This annual event is the highlight of January.

April 9 -The Federal Government has decreed by an Act of Parliament that 9 April each year will now be called Vimy Ridge Day. The Flag on the Peace Tower will be flown at half mast in honour of those who made the ultimate sacrifice at this momentous battle .
